I use pulling water toys behind a very fast jet ski. It is easier on the Ski and easier on the person riding the towable. When I used regular ropes on rough water, there were times when I took off that I could hear the stress noices and it just killed me when driving this expensive toy. Having this rope has stopped that and eased my mind when taking off. I have also noticed when riding that it isn't such a stiff take off and when being whipped around a corner, it seems to be soo much easier on the water toy itself. It absorbs the extra stress in rough water and in the end, it is worth the little extra you will spend upfront. Very easy to use and store!

___Ok hears the low down. This rope is heavy bottom line. The bungee part of the rope is about an inch thick and is vary heavy. I love the idea behind this and this could be a great product IF the mfg did some research. Even with a ski bar leavening the boat at about 5 to 6 feet above water level the rope will touch the water and not only make the ride horrible for the person on it by being lashed by water but it will get stuck in the boats wake and have the person being towed in a unsafe wipe lash effect. This all being said I love the idea behind this product. If the guys in research and development did a bit more research they would have found this out. Take the 51 ft rope and make it about 10 ft put the bungee part near the ski bar or tow hitch on the bout also the rope has no need to be that thick other then the fact that u have a slash cord inside to help the bungee. So if u can use a smaller size rope and make the over all length of the rope about 10 feet. (The 51 ft is not long enough for a jet boat or any with any kind of kick up.)
If you bought this all ready I would do just this. Buy a 3/8 or 1/2 inch rope made for towing (50ft) cut this rope so that the bungee is neer the ski bar this lets you have the great part of this rope the bungee effect (witch on a side note works well to take the jarring un fun part out of the tube ride and makes the swing on the turns more fun!) Make a end lope on the cut end. Make sure to seal the rope back up by heating it. Once this is done it's a great product. Stinks that your paying money for a tow rope u don't need but if they were to make this less long and put a loop on the end this could be a great product.
This all being said I have not used this trying to pull a tube with say 500lbs on it. So if u have a large bun or a banana this rope Might work.

It is ready to use right out of the package. Connect one end to your ski tow bar and the other to the plastic connector on your tube or towable and go have fun. It's that easy.Answered on 6/14/2011 by Manitou SHP SES 250 H.O. from Beaver Lake, ARVERIFIED BUYER

It's ready to use with loops tied in both ends for easy connection to a tube and the boat.Answered on 6/28/2011 by wingsparr from Charleston, SC.VERIFIED BUYER
A:
the rope is looped on both ends. you will need a connector on the boat and tube to use this rope, but to me, it was money well spent. You will have a blast without jerks and popping across waves as the bungee pulls back faster than a regular rope.Answered on 8/9/2011 by T.C. from Southwest Oklahoma
Q:
I am kind of new to towing our 2 man tube and I can't seem to understand why most of the towable tubing ropes have a handle. I know the handle is great for skiing or wakeboarding but when it comes to hooking up the tube wouldn't I want a rope that has two circled/knotted ends or at least one knotted end and a hook to attach to the boat?
Any recommendations? I cannot tell if this airhead bungee tube has a handle or not.Asked on 7/6/2010 by Eve from Southern California0 answers

Q:
How do you hook this rope up? Can you hook the bungie end to the boat instead of the tube?Asked on 5/26/2010 by Andy1 answer
A:
Yes, that is the way I use the rope. I have seen others complain about splash when run with the bungee end close to the tube.Answered on 6/11/2010 by Luv My Pontoon from Rock Hill, SC
Q:
is this actually a bungie rope or is it just heavy duty pulling rope, like does it actualy make it bounce and expand/ contract??? because we have a heavy duty pulling rope already....... thank youAsked on 8/8/2009 by i donno :) from owen sound area4 answers

It stretches at times to give a bungee effect. It also works to reduce a hard snap after pulling up slack.Answered on 5/24/2010 by Boomeister from Bentonville, ARVERIFIED BUYER
A:
It is an actual bungee, at least for the first 10' or so. I have seen reviews where people complain about the amount of splash caused by the heavier bungee end...for the learning impaired, turn it around. Hook the bungee side to the towbar. Great product, buy it!Answered on 6/7/2010 by Luv My Pontoon from Rock Hill, SC
