I was looking for a steal on any round above-ground pool cover because I came across an Australian Co. selling a trampoline sun canopy/tent for around $300.00. I wanted the kids to have sun protection and still use the backyard this summer so I drew up a pattern to use the pool cover over the trampoline safety enclosure. I found Gander Mountain by complete chance and they had the cover 50% cheaper than any other online retailer. The product itself was better than I had expected due to small quarter-sized holes in a couple of places(intentional) to allow for wind venting(avoids tearing) and to ease my concerns that one of my action figure sons might figure out a way to get trapped in it. The only problem with my usage was that we hit 105+ degree days and that is too hot for that type of application. I would have purchased multiples had I known the quality and used them as tent bases, ground mat for under the pool, pool cover, a parachute /ball game and 2 additional moveable side panels for the trampoline.
