Just perfect for my trailer!

About Me New Boat Owner

Pros

  • Can Withstand Use
  • Easy to install
  • Just The Correct Height

Cons

  • None

Best Uses

  • Great On Bunk Trailers

Comments about Smith 60" Post Guide-Ons:

It may take a little adjusting during installation to allow for the proper clearance for the broadest part of the gunwale, as the poles naturally flare outward when bolts are loose, but then become upright when all bolts are tightened. It just took me about 1/2 hour to install and re-adjust the guide-ons while the boat was still on the trailer. You can't go wrong with this product.

Comments about Smith 60" Post Guide-Ons:

Buyer Beware! Product arrives damaged everytime. Until Overton's corrects a packaging issue where PVC is rubbing against raw metal every order will arrive damaged.

    Service and delivery comments:

Buyer Beware! Product arrived in poor/damaged condition. I called Overton's and they sent me out a new set, damaged in the exact same way. Called Overton's again and explained how the packaging was insufficient, they said there was nothing they could do about it and sent me out a third pair which were damaged exactly the same again. The pvc is up against raw metal in the package which scratches and chewes up the PVC. Poor packaging and lack of desire to correct the situation makes what could be a good product damged junk.
