    Comments about Lowrance 20' Transducer Extension Cable:

    The best location to install the internal transducer for my sailboat was forward of the keel. The original transducer cable was not long enough. The extension attached easily with a mechanical connector, and provided the additional length. Since the connection was placed below the floor boards, I additionally sealed and waterproofed the connector. So far, so good.
