Comments about Sony Xplod CDX-M30 CD Receiver:
bought for my centerconsole fishing boat and mounted in the console. This unit is not up to par to be called a marine unit. Aside from having a label on it honestly it looks just like a regular automotive headunit. Anyway after 1 year of occasional trips the faceplate is dead no lights no buttons and no display... luckly the remote still operated the unit till i finally got sick of it and ripped it out. I don't recommend this. Go with a Fusion or something else that is a sealed unit.
If you do buy this only mount it in your galley or somewhere out of the elements and put a remote on your helm.

Comments about Sony Xplod CDX-M30 CD Receiver:
This unit has no resitance to sea air. I have had two in 18 months. The first quit working within 10 months (none of the buttons responded to selection though there was still power to the unit). It was replaced under warranty and the replacement unit died after just 8 months (first buttons stopped woking then unit went completely dead). Don't bother.
