Product Description
springfield_marine The innovative design of the Springfield Control Post lets it easily be adjusted for comfortable use as a seat or leaning post. Keep the seat upright for enhanced lower back support or angle it to take the pressure off of your legs. The seat rotates to keep up with your changing casting angles. The corrosion-resistant power rise pedestal has an up/down level for instant height adjustment from 28-1/2" to 35-1/2".

Threaded Square Base is made of stainless steel with a satin finish. Below the deck mount requires a 2.5" dia. hole in deck. 7" x 7" with 4" deep cup.

        I use the pedestal base for the rear fishing seat in a crossover bass boat. I'm hoping that the base is resistant to saltwater since the base is mounted on top of the rear live well and is subject to constant contact with saltwater. It is a ten minute job to switch it out so if it lasts a few years I'm happy. The original base is the same make and lasted ten years.

          This seat base was easy to install. Took about 15 minutes to install two in the front of my bass boat. Going to use them for spider rigging. You will need a 2 3/4 inch hole saw and some SS screws. Very sturdy I weigh 375+. Now that's a test.
