how is the sol-r action great horned owl mounted? 79963Asked on 6/5/2015 by jim the former customer from chelan, wa
A:Thanks for your question. The owl can be mounted or secured by:
1) Screwing the base to a surface. There are insets on the base to allow for mounting screws.
2) Mount the base on a pole. There is a removable plug in the bottom to allow a pole to be inserted into the base. This is typically used for an open area such as a garden.
3) Fill the base with sand to weigh it down. The same removable plug can be used to fill the base with sand, gravel or another weighted material.Answered on 6/8/2015 by Product Expert from Overtons
Q:How do you mount it?Asked on 7/14/2014 by WildBill2500 from ME
A:The owl can be mounted on a pole driven into the ground, or tied down. It can also be weighed down with sand or other material, since it's hollow and has a stopper for hole on the bottom.Answered on 7/17/2014 by Anonymous
Q:How tall is it and has it worked for you?
has anyone used it to keep geese off your sea wall and yard?
would you reccomend it?Asked on 3/21/2010 by linsey from Indiana
A:Yes sir, we have had great feed back on this item. Everyone over all very much likes it. As for scaring geese off, I do not know if this is quite what you need. I am not familiar with what is a natural predator for geese and what they would fear.Answered on 3/25/2010 by Bryant from Tech
