Comments about ProMariner AC Plug Holder:
The clamp portion that secures the power cord from the charger to this holder needs a heavier attachment. Mine broke at this point.
Great idea.

Comments about ProMariner AC Plug Holder:
Eventually the top of the back side of the sleeve that attaches to the flange breaks off and then when you want to plug the extension cord in, you can't, because you just push the charger plug out of the recpticle. Then to charge you must get to the back side of the recpticle, push the charger plug into the recpticle and then mate the extension cord from the power supply into the charger plug.
This this is not durable. However, it's the only one I've seen that, at least at first, that holds the charger plug "firmly" (until it breaks) in the recpticle, without having to cut the charger plug off and hardwire the charger cord to the recpticle.
You buy this and you should count on buy several more over the years.

Comments about ProMariner AC Plug Holder:
The flange on the plug is not wide enough. If for example you are using a hole saw. there is almost no stock to attach the screws to. If the flange was 1/4 of an inch more in diameter would make the installation much easier.

Q:
Does this wiring come with an inline fuse and how much wire comes with it?Asked on 5/19/2009 by Dave from Mich.1 answer
A:
no wiring comes with this. it is merely a holder for the end of a wire cord, like from an onboard battery charger or other device that required AC to be plugged in. It allows you to have the cord penetrate thru a hard surface but keeps the plug secure and out of the weather when not in use.Answered on 7/28/2009 by Tom from Mobile, AL
