Comments about Taylor Made Comfort Zone™ Boat Misting System:
I bought this unit to keep my elderly father cool on our boating trip this summer. This is a quality unit that functioned well; however, environment conditions GREATLY contribute to its effectiveness. For this unit to operate and deliver the expected results you have to have next to no wind. A very slight breeze is best. How often do you get that out on the water? Remember for evaporative cooling to work the wind (breeze) most blow through the mist and then onto you. When I first put my unit to use the temperature was about 102 with a slight breeze. As long as I stood right next to the mister head, I could enjoy its effects. But as I moved 1 or 2 foot away I could tell no change in the ambient air, even with a breeze. What I experienced mostly was wet seats and watching the wind blow the mist out away from the boat and me. I think that trying to adapt this system to small boat, like my pontoon, is futile. This system would be better served on house boats where many mister heads could be placed and there are more structural wind breaks. My father ended up taking one of the mister heads and just holding it next to his face and neck. For the most part it just made him wet rather than cool. Even when conditions were right there was little difference in the ambient temperature under our Bimini top.

Comments about Taylor Made Comfort Zone™ Boat Misting System:
Assembly of the system was easy. Comes with a very nice high pressure pump. Too high pressure! All of the mist nozzles popped out as soon as we turned it on, squirting water all over the boat. Nozzles won't stay in. Had to get better parts from a professional mister supply store.
