Seat Quality is excellent. The frame plastic could be thicker, especially if the passenger is a bit on the heavy side, or it gets bumpy.

Before you attach the seat, layout position in the boat and drill holes. IMPORTANT- predrill 4 additional mounting points at each external inner corner. Seat is not stable with just the 4 center holes. Once predrilled, then attach the seat.

Getting in under the front seat is tricky, but worth it in strength.

I bought these seats to replace the lounge seats in our 1989 Four Winns Freedom 160 bowrider. I would have gotten the seats reupholstered, but the frames were rotten.
Based on looks alone, these seats are great. Look much better than the 20 year old seats they replaced. But the sturdiness and comfort leave a LOT to be desired. The plastic frame is not half as sturdy as the wood frame in the OEM seats. Do not plan on leaning on top of the seats to drive or dock, they bend right over. The cushions are VERY hard, they are narrower than OEM, and the back support is not high enough for me.
One main installation problem I had was these seats only pull out to recline from one side, so I had to crowd the seats toward the back of the boat to have room to lay the seats down. My old seats pulled out from both sides. This is not noted in the description anywhere.
I guess for what I paid for the pair, you can't expect much more than this. But I would have gladly paid a couple hundred dollars more for a sturdier seat.

              A:

Yes. These are universal fit lounge seats designed to replace the seats in boats that do not have the seat bases built into the floor. You will need to measure the area that the seats are to be placed to confirm that you have adequate space. These seats measure 45.25"L x 18"W. The seat will be 65.5"L when fully reclined. The seat reclines in one direction so be sure to account for that when measuring and installing. The seat base measures 36"L x 13.5"W x 10"H. Please email us back or call one of our product techs at 1-800-334-6541 if you have further questions.

No. One side slides out to recline the seat. You can somewhat see this in the second photo. You can really see it better by viewing the "360" animation that shows the reclining seat in action.

I am trying to decide between the pemium and deluxe lounge seat for my boat. I like the style of the deluxe seat but the rather aged style look of the premiun seat says it has 28 oz. material. is this the same on the deluxe? Also the pic of the deluxe in grey and red is what I am after but the burgandy/ red looks metalic in the photo. Is it, or is it flat burgandy as this is what I am looking for?

The deluxe seats have a 26 oz marine grade vinyl. The red is not metallic. It is a flat color.
