This is the third kit I bought, very attractive styling. I also like the low profile & low power comsumption. No worries about backing the trailer into the water with the lights pluged in & shorting out like other " water proof " kits actually do. Also no worries about the lights not working unless you really have someting majorly wrong with your vechile wiring harness. I strongly reccomend this kit. I travel all of the U.S. & I don't want to have to worry about my trailer lights, with this kit you don't have to !

Good quality light units were a near perfect replacement for my EZ Loader original lights. Wiring was about 6 inches too short to reach the tongue for my 19 foot boat trailer requiring an extra splice. Ground wires for each of the two light modules are only 6 inches long and should be at least 12 inches for easier installation. Also be aware that 4 or more additional side marker lights (not included in kit)are required to be highway legal and need to be spliced into the wiring. This was not clear to me from reading the product description which seems to imply a full trailer light replacement kit. There were "clamp onto the wire" style connectors provided in kit to connect to side marker lights but I don't consider these suitable for use where the connection will submerged underwater (like on a boat trailer....!)..especially in salt water. I had to separately order six sidelights and buy new waterproof connectors (plus shrink tube and liquid electric tape)to complete the lighting upgrade to LED. The total additional cost of the side marker lights and connection hardware added about $100 to the light replacement cost which was considerably more than what I paid for the "Optronics trailer light kit".

Not the LED kit. We have led marker lights available separately, items 73594, 73593, 87316 or 87315.

We have the non-LED low profile kit with marker lights. See item 72095.

Are these a direct replacement for Wesbar trailer lights?

              • CUSTOMER CARE

                A:

They do have similar sizes, but are not direct replacements for Wesbar. Optronics is one of several suppliers for trailer lights that are out there and are featured on many of the OEM trailers today.
