Installed in rod box & lure box of bassboat for more light in them. Gives good light in storage boxes. Need better way to hold in place( need screw holes to hold in place better).

Comments about BUZTRONICS INC MarineFX LED Marker Light:
I purchased these lights with the intention of using them to enhance the led lights already in my boat. I was looking for added color (red) to enhance the die cut name displays and these lights worked perfectly for the job. They gave off enough red light to offset the white already present. And the simple fact that they draw very little power is an added plus to help conserve the limited battery life when my boat is not on the run down the lake. The ease of installation and mounting made it a breeze and simplified what could have become a complex job. I would like to see these items in a larger size selection though, six lights is nice and compact but maybe 10-12 lights, or maybe 12-16 lights would be nice too.

Q:
I am looking for a LED to light the side of our Pontoon. In the last 3 weeks, other boats have just about run into us as we take our evening cruise.
Question- can this be used as marker light attached to the outside of the pontoon to light up our postion on the water. Is this light a 12 volt or 110 volt light system??
Thank You,
