    Nice rust free product. Could be longer(1/2" not 3/8")for bunk ends where 2 layers folded over. These should be cataloged with bunk carpet or suggested purchase when buying carpet online. Found these after ordering carpet and had to pay 2nd shipping/handling charges for 2 orders that should have been 1.

    The box states not for Marine use. What the heck! Thats why I purchased it. Also it was right next to the bunk carpeting section. Check on the product.

                  A:

                  Stainless should be fine if used only in or near fresh water. Monel is more resistant to corrosion from sea water and sea air. Some Monel staples may loosen in older and drier wood.
