Q:So how exactly does this work?
Do i remove the motor bolt, place the sleeve over the hole and put the bolt back in and tighten?
How does the top part lock down on the sleeve?Asked on 1/5/2010 by Anonymous
A:The nut on the bolt is removed and the one part of the lock is
slipped over the bolt, then the nut is replaced and the other part of the lock is placed over the nut and then locked. Do not lose the keys because they are not replaceable.Answered on 1/6/2010 by Justin from Overton's Technician
Q:Can these locks fit a 225 Yamaha outboard motor?Asked on 8/17/2009 by Anonymous from Nassau, Bahamas
A:We do not know if the engine bolts for a 225 Yamaha O/B are 1/2 inch or less. This stainless steel lock fits up to 1/2" engine bolts. You will have to know if your engine bolts are the proper size for this product.Answered on 9/15/2009 by JUSTIN from OVERTONS TECHNICIAN
