Comments about Whitecap Chrome-Plated Brass Folding Step:

I have a 20ft wellcraft with a center console. I have a t-top and the bench I have to sit on has no place to put my feet. I saw this and they are perfect. I installed them on each side of the console and now have a confortable foot rest for the long rides.

Comments about Whitecap Chrome-Plated Brass Folding Step:

I have not yet installed this, but it looks like there is nothing to it. This is a very solid product, you can tell just by picking it up. I am sure once I get this on the boat it is going to be a great addition.

        A:

This item is installed into the hull with stainless steel self tapping screws (some people call them self drilling same thing). If you want to you can back the screws out after making the holes and fill the holes with marine epoxy and reinsert the screws and allow it to harden to get a watertight seal. Mounting hardware is not included. Weight limit 250 lbs.

        A:

They just screw to a surface with self tapping screws. You can pick up the mounting screws at any hardware store location.
