Q:Can you tell me how many cans (approximately) would it take to put on the seats of a 24 ft pontoon boat? And do you need to prep the seats before applying?Asked on 7/18/2009 by Sandy from Monroe, NC
A:Square footage is also known as the area, so if you measure the length and width and multiply them together you will get the square footage of the seat. 12 oz. can will cover about 20 sq. ft. We can not tell you anything specific about any make, model, and year of a boat, pwc, or trailer so this is something that you will need to check into. Make sure the seat is clean and dry and avoid applying to much in one spot to avoid streaks.Answered on 1/20/2010 by Justin from Overton's Technician
