I used the yellow on my PWC seat last summer, and it still looks great. So when we decided to change to color of our boat from teal to red, we used colorbond to paint the interior seats of the boat. The white was looking dingy so we spruced it up with a new coat of white and changed the teal to red. Both colors worked great. The red covered the teal with only a few coats. It did take about 15 cans of paint and 10 cans of clear, but that is cheaper than recovering them. It was really easy to apply and only took a few hours to complete the project. Our boat seats look amazing. I definatly reccomend this product.

OK, so the color isn't the greatest, but I didn't expect it to be a perfect match. I used several coats on my worn out PWC seat. The green had worn all the way thru, so that every time I sat on the seat, it left green on my swimsuit! This stuff was easy to use, and does bond well - but after only a month being in the sun (my PWC is in the water the entire summer parked next to my boat), it's now fading out pretty good. I expect to replace the vinyl seat cover this winter. It was a good "stop-gap" so that I could use the jet ski for the remainder of this summer, though.

Comments about Bryndana Int'l Ltd Color Bond, 12 oz.:
I used this on a very faded vinyl seat and handlebarpad and my friends thought I had them recovered. I was skeptical about the thought of painting vinyl but it did work and still looks good after 2 trips out on the lake. I can't say how long it will last, but I would recommend trying this stuff before paying for recovering anything.

The seats on my My 1997 Sea Doo 3-seater was looking rough, using the Yellow paint it matched perfect and made the seats look new. After painting I used the sealer/hardner gloss which made the seat original looking. This watercraft does not look as old as it is.

Q:
Can you tell me how many cans (approximately) would it take to put on the seats of a 24 ft pontoon boat? And do you need to prep the seats before applying?Asked on 7/18/2009 by Sandy from Monroe, NC1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Square footage is also known as the area, so if you measure the length and width and multiply them together you will get the square footage of the seat. 12 oz. can will cover about 20 sq. ft. We can not tell you anything specific about any make, model, and year of a boat, pwc, or trailer so this is something that you will need to check into. Make sure the seat is clean and dry and avoid applying to much in one spot to avoid streaks.Answered on 1/20/2010 by Justin from Overton's Technician
