These speakers provide the best sound, out perfoming two outdoor box speakers that have tweeter, mid range and wolfer.

Good sounding speakers for the price. I'm using them with a low power head unit (20 watts per channel) also made by Dual. They get loud enough for our use (20ft bowrider) in conjunction with a pair of 6x9s. Aesthetically nice design and easy to install although they protrude from the surface a little more than I would like. They can apparently be flush mounted from behind also according to the instructions but I didn't try that. Comes with everything needed (wire, screws, screw clips). Have had them for about a month now and have no complaints. They have gotten wet from rinsing the boat after use and they haven't been damaged in any way. The only issue I have is that the website makes them look like they are bright white but in reality they are more like off-white or sand color. It may sound nit-picky but it is noticeable especially when mounted on a white background as they are on my boat.

We bought these speakers for our 21 ft pontoon boat. The boat came with speakers up front, but while driving you couldn't hear the music good in the back, you would have to turn it up to loud and then people in the front couldn't hear themselves talk. So we bought these speakers and placed them under the helm (drivers seat) and they sound Awesome! They fit right in along with the speakers that were in the boat from the factory. But now this boat does not sound like it has a factory setup in it at all. The music is clear, crisp and loud with a lot of bass. Just Beautiful. We just love them. They're a great addition to our boat.

I was a little weary of this product based on other reviews, but so far they have been great! I purchased 2 pair for installation in a 27' pontoon boat and they sound great! I haven't had any problems and I'm sure that if I do, Overton's will stand behind the product. If you need good marine speakers at a very reasonable cost, these are the way to go.

The number one reason why a speaker may blow out is the the head unit is giving the speaker to much power. Make sure that wattage output from the head unit is not too powerful for the speaker Also speakers are sold it pair because a single speaker when special ordered if more than a new set.

The speakers were bought as a combo package deal with a Fm Cd unit about 2years ago. Now one speaker had to be disconected do to distortion. The only choice is to order 2 more so they will match.
