The light was easy to install and worked great for the first couple of hours. It is really bright. After several hours of use it died. I since tried replacing the bulb, which did not work and then tried other lights in the base and they worked fine. The wiring in the telescoping part is garbage.

We were able to use the telescoping light in existing base. But kept base if original goes bad. Just stick in and go. Our base is circular but the rectangular base will work when it goes bad.Answered on 8/22/2012 by Kat from Cecil, OH
