Product Description
The Deacon is a hybrid water shoe that's up for any adventure. Its go-anywhere, do-anything design is the perfect compromise on those days when it's too hot for a hiking shoe, but too hazardous for a sandal. The Deacon features a synthetic upper; adjustable ankle strap for a custom fit; closed-toe design for added protection; compression-molded EVA midsole for cushioning; Shoc Pad for shock absorption; EVA shank for rigidity and stability; and a Durabrasion rubber outsole for durable traction. A Microban zinc-based antimicrobial treatment helps combat odors so feet stay fresher longer. Medium width. Imported. |

I had the sandals for less than a month. I wore them on an as-needed basis when I needed foot protection in water. Today I waded in shallow lake water to play with my Golden Retriever, and one of the sandals started separating from the sole during our walk home. Cheap adhesive? Poor curing? I expected much more from a quality brand of water shoe like Teva. Disappointed to say the least.
