Product Description
gerber Intricately designed by Gerber and Bear Grylls, the Ultimate Knife comes loaded with innovations you won't find in any other fixed-blade knife. The half-serrated, high-carbon, drop-point stainless steel blade is ideal for edge retention and cutting rope. Ergonomic, textured rubber grip ensures comfort and secure hold. Stainless steel pommel at handle's base for hammering. The nylon sheath is lightweight, military-grade, and mildew-resistant. A fire-starter ferrocerium rod locks into sheath while a striker notch is incorporated into back of knife's blade. The sheath also features an on-the-go diamond sharpener. Comes with integrated emergency whistle, land-to-air rescue instructions, and "Priorities of Survival" pocket guide with Bear's survival essentials.

    I looked high and low for this knife. I bought it as soon as i found one and Love it. The fire stick is great. The blade does need just a little sharpening when you get it but thats easy since it comes with a sharpener. The only con is it is a bit heavy, but for the blade you get its worth it

    Lovely overall except for the rivets in the sheath. No matter how you return it to the sheath there is a metal rivet or stud that the blade draws across each time, removing some of the edge. The folding version of this is my daily carry knife, but I need to make a different sheath for the fixed version.

    This knife stays sharp, use it to cut brush for blinds, then dress a deer,with out touching it up. I like this knife so much I bought a second one for my huntig partner " My daughter"She used hers to start a fire, to my surprise it was easy to get one started? Now her husband wants one.
    If you dont buy one of these knives and use it your missing out on a GREAT product, As a hunter for over 40 years I wish I had one along time ago,
    Have hung up my old Case General that I have used for 40 years
