Sonars have been around forever. So long, in fact, that most anglers don't even own know about them or even own one. One of the first "bade baits" on the market and still the best one. Great for vertical jigging walleyes, smallmouth bass, lake trout, etc. I use mine in the spring and fall for smallmouth bass with great success.

It is really good for white bass in the Ohio River. I lost my last one, looked all over for more. I found them at another store but they were a dollar more, than Gander Mountain, who also had free shipping.My grand son and I caught 35 white bass with them, the next time we went.

the only reason this lure does not get 5 stars is because larger fish will bend the hook weld open. all of my older sonars have hook rings and new hooks put on as a result of me replacing the old after it breaks. that said, no other blade bait has the variety of colors or the success that I have with a sonar. I buy at least 10 of these every season for brown trout and early smallmouth.
