Product Description
tilley This version of Tilley's classic Airflo hat is a fusion of broad brim styling, Insect Shield technology, and a lightweight neck protector. Insect Shield technology helps protect your skin from biting insects, while the neck protector unrolls discreetly from the rear brim to shade all angles of the neck. The neck protector fastens under the chin and is secured with a Velcro tab closure for protection against the sun or rain. Designed with a 3/4" polyester mesh built into the crown, this lightweight hat offers superb ventilation in warmer weather. It also features a dark underbrim for glare protection and a secret pocket on the underside of the back brim for stashing small personal items. Made from Tilley Nylamtium, an ultra-durable water-and-mildew-resistant 100% Supplex nylon fabric that also offers excellent sun protection with an incredible UPF 50+ rating. Like all Tilley hats, the Airflo Insect Shield Hat is guaranteed for life not to wear out, is insured against loss, repels rain, floats, ties on in the wind, is machine-washable, and won't shrink. Imported.

Comments about Tilley Airflo Insect Shield Hat with Tuck-Away Neck Protector:

I like how the hat fits, and looks. The neck protector will come in handy, especially on the Lake, and cutting the grass. It tucks up
into the brim nicely to stow away. I have my doubts about the Insect Sheild, but it will get a test this spring on the trout stream with the black flies and mosquito's. If it does well, I will write another review.

It does the job for every need when trying to protect from the sun.
I do not find that the insect repellent works for flying insects.

Comments about Tilley Airflo Insect Shield Hat with Tuck-Away Neck Protector:

I live in FL and use this hat fishing and kayaking and as most everyone knows we have all kinds of biting insects here. So far so good except for what we call sand gnats, little buggers that come out in swarms especially around salt marshes. Nothing is perfect. Great looking, quality, style and lifetime warranty.
