I am a freshwater fishin fanatic and while i love flyfishing i have always had a soft spot for a good spincast reel for its simplicity, value and memories of when i would go out with my pops and paw when i was a boy. I have spent thousands on top notch fly fishin equip multiple rods, reels, etc...its a lot of fun and after a few months i gotta take a break from it and when i do i grab a zebco 33 the graphite body one i paid [$] for it. It will handle anything short of a monster cat and even some of them won't get away if you play em right.I have had problems on all types of reels at all price levels, it happens and sometimes it's your own fault.As for this reel it should never give anyone a prob that they can't fix themselves and if you take care of it (any one that can't take care of THEIR equip should'nt fish :) i'm just saying!)it will last you a lifetime.You can play with line wts too (it can handle it) just don't go lower.I like to fish senko style sticks and trick worms rigged different ways depending on what's goin on that time of day/night.I put mine on a uglystik lite 5'6" 10lbs test (thats stock) it's always been enough for any thing i'm after (1-20lbs usually). The lite rod lets you play any fish any way you want for some serious fun on the water.Add an uglystik for 40 bucks. This combo will last and won't break the bank.Lastly if you have a problem you can't handle the folks at Gander Mtn usually can take care of it.TIGHT LINES see you on the river.
