Dual-symmetrical serrated Quantum blades cut faster and resist ice and snow buildup, offering balanced operation and a smooth, controlled cut. Primer button for quick response starting. Extra-large recoil handle makes it easy to start the engine while wearing gloves or mittens. See-through gas tank for easy gas level monitoring. Muffler guard protects you from hot areas. Ergonomically designed comfort grip handle bar and throttle control for maximum grip. Centering ring prevents drilling angled holes. Eskimo red powdercoat paint finish for durability.       I used this auger on the walleye capital of the world ,Lake of The Woods minnesota many time last year. It was cold but that thing would start in 2 pulls at the most. Great Auger!

      Great Auger. Take CAUTION when ordering on line though. Online picture is of 2011 model with Alum handles. The one they sent was last years model with plastic handles. NOT THE AUGER I ORDERED.

      I think this is a little heavy, but then again I'm only 5'4". I just put it in my jet sled to get to my ice fishing spot. You don't even need to push down when drilling through the ice.

      Service and delivery comments:

      Gander Mountain was very polite and friendly. I would ask for Joshua in customer service he was great and helped with this order.
