First, I'd like to be clear that I'm a huge fan of Carhartt and have a number of pieces of Carhartt clothing. This is the only one that I've had a problem with. I was really pleased when Carhartt came out with a line of work clothes for women and I have to say these bibs fit very, very well. But they just plain didn't hold up under what's normal use in Alaska. I had a lot of problems with drains freezing last winter and was crawling in and out of the crawlspace pretty regularly, and the fabric on these just got shredded. The knees are gone and so is the butt. They layer real well and are warm enough, but they are not at all durable and I won't be buying anything made with this fabric in the future. In the meantime I replaced them with a pair of Carhartt men's extremes, which are huge on me but they're absolutely indestructible.

    Quilted bibs

    By peaches

    from Undisclosed

Comments about Carhartt Womens Sandstone Bib Overall:

As a soon-to be veterinarian, I ordered the quilted bibs based on Carhartt's history of durability and quality. The bibs provide warmth from the elements such as wind and snow as well as plenty of pockets. This was my first Carhartt purchase and I have made several more since based on satisfaction of the product.

    Women's Sandstone Bib

    By Laurabeth185

    from Chicago

Comments about Carhartt Womens Sandstone Bib Overall:

I am thrilled with this purchase. The bibs are easy to get in and out of, true to size, and exceptionally warm. I spent 3 hours walking around our local arboretum in 15F with a moderate breeze. I remained comfortable; which is saying a lot as I am always cold. True to Carhartt form, the material is very stiff; I had issues getting in and out of the car. I expect that the break in period will be lengthy.

    Warm in the Winter

    By HorseVet

Comments about Carhartt Womens Sandstone Bib Overall:

I love my lined overalls. I bought a second pair. They are warm but light enough to allow for physical activity without overheating. The bib overall design allows for freedom of movement and comfortable layering over top. I like the flattering cut and elastic waist. I also love that they come in short lengths. They wash well and dry nicely in the dryer. My first pair is showing some wear in the right knee but no holes. I have recommended these to several colleagues and they love them too.

    Great

Comments about Carhartt Womens Sandstone Bib Overall:

The bib does run a tad large - but not enough to really make a big difference (i.e. not necessary to buy a 6 if you normally wear an 8). Overall- very warm, as expected from Carhartt.
