Comments about KL Industries Sun Dolphin 10.2 Fishing Boat:

This is the GREATEST LITTLE FISHING BOAT.I've had it on Rend Lake and I was about a mile out and had big bass boats going all around.I laughed at them because I was able to go where they couldn't.I had 4 bass that weighed around 5 lbs. each in the live well.

Comments about KL Industries Sun Dolphin 10.2 Fishing Boat:

I bought one of these a few years ago, I love this boat, fits in my truck, a little heavy and akward to move by yourself but not impossible. I use a 36 lb. motor & it could use a little more, I suggest a 55lb. thrust

      • Q:

what is this boat rated for in terms of gas ouboards hp
        Asked on 6/16/2010 by Anonymous

        1 answer

        • A:

It's rated for up to 7HP. But in the owners manual it says a motor no more than 85 pounds. Yamaha and Tahatsu make 8HP under that weight. You'll find most manufacturers makes 4,5,6 and 8HP. The boat is designed NOT to plane. So don't expect a speed demon. :)
