surefire The Saint Minimus headlamp runs on a single CR123A battery contained in a module that screws directly into the light assembly. Minimus produces a wide, variable-output beam optimized for your field of vision. Adjustment from 0 to 100 lumens can be done with one hand-even cold or gloved-using a built-in variable light-output dial. Built from hard-anodized aerospace aluminum, Minimus is lightweight yet tough enough for the rigors of caving and mountaineering, and is submersible to 3' for up to 30 minutes. The fine-mesh headband features a moisture-wicking Breathe-O-Prene pad the provides unmatched comfort and dryness. Virtually indestructible LED emitter is regulated to maximize output and run time. The built-in SOS beacon can run for days on end. Includes one high-energy CR123A battery.

      I still do not have a working unit. Own several SureFire products but this one seems to be a bad design. Sent the first one back because it was dead on arrival. Tested batterry etc. but before sending, the replacement arrived. Same thing. Called SureFire and said I had two dead ones. Sent one back to the store and one to SureFire under warranty. Will revise later ...
