Comments about Ocean Kayak Prowler Trident Angler 13 Kayak:
I bass fish in this kayak weekly and it is top notch. I was very surprised how stable this kayak is considering how unstable sit in kayaks can be. I spend 80% of my time standing up casting, 20% sitting and casting. The center console is very handy for tackle and holding multiple rod holders. A good lifejacket for safety is priority number one on the water. The rods in the seat tore through the back but that's an easy fix. Search kayak loader for loading on cars.

Q:
How do I go about finding the right kayak for me. I do not want to get one that i am not comfortable with, only to have to get another one.Asked on 7/22/2010 by Robb from Andover, NJ1 answer
A:
first you have to figure out wether you want a sit in or sit on, they both have advatages and disadvantes. sit ins are in my opinon better for norther fishin ( cold and rough water ) and sit ins are better for warm choppy water, although like the trident there are some sit ons that handle rough water fine. it also depends on your height and weight. im 6 foot 270 pounds so i have a 13 foot kayak and would also do fine in a 15 foot, but a shorter lighter person would do better with a 11 or 13 foot. i have a sit on and getting ready to buy the new trident 13. and dont forget that there are a huge variety of seats if yours is not comfortable enough. hope you find the right one =)Answered on 6/9/2011 by biggin' from TX
