My friend purchased one of these and I had the opportunity to use it side by side with my Sagen Saw. It is tough to beat the original Sagen Saw. The Sagen Saw has a better grip, cuts faster, easier to clean, stays sharper, easier to use. Gerber made a half hearted attempt at this Sagen Saw knock-off. I wouldn't buy this, the Sagen saw is just that much better and the Sagen Saw is cheaper. Sagen saw has a lifetime warranty and is made in the USA quality, not china.

Comments about Gerber® E-Z Saw II:
The product has a very sharp end even thought marketed as dull. I had to use a grinder to significantly dull the end so it would not break through internals of the deer.

Comments about Gerber® E-Z Saw II:
I bought this product because my other saw (rope saw) kept breaking. I have used it three times now and it has performed rather well. Seems to be sturdy and halfway easy to use. Sometimes it seems a little difficult to find the exact center of the bone with this product. All in all a nice product. I would prefer the rope saw but after three or four cuts you need to get a new blade and that can be expensive prospect.
