Comments about Berkley Gulp! Jerk Shad Soft Bait:
Whether you rig it with a jighead or weedless on a weighted 3/0 hook this bait works! Offshore, inshore or freshwater species. Berkley still has to overcome the issue with how messy these baits can be in your tackle box or bag. The new plastic boxes they recently came out with crack easy.

Comments about Berkley Gulp! Jerk Shad Soft Bait:
I ordered the 5" Berkley Gulp Shad in Pearl White which is my favorite color. The Gander online site is easy to navigate, ordering was a breeze, [...] The only reason I don't score the Gulp Shad a five, is because the pearl white color is not the same as it was with the straight power bait. The gulp Shad in Pearl White seems to be missing it's "pearl" irridesant reflection.

Comments about Berkley Gulp! Jerk Shad Soft Bait:
These work great when largemouth are in the shallows. I twitch these on the surface and they look exactly like a dying shad. I've even skipped these on lily pads and had good luck with them. The only downside to this bait is that the tail rips easily.
