Bought this for my sister. It is remarkably sharp out the box; she has been using for who knows what and she is yet to complain that it needs to be sharpened (now a year old). For those who are turned off by the color, it is much darker in real life. Take a quick drive to the store and take a look at it.
what i really liked about it was that the inline lock was pretty beefed up so it would not unlock accidentally on her and the pinky safely so that she can quickly lock and unlock it as needed.
Only complaint is she really gummed it up with something and it took me forever to clean it up for her (i am a sucker for home cooked meals). if i had a folding knife of my own i would have been more prepared.

Having this clipped in your pocket everyday makes sure that if you need a knife, it is ready to go. And you can deploy it with one hand if the other hand is holding what needs to be cut.

This is by far my favorite knife I've owned. Unfortunately I lost it golfing (I don't even golf, go figure.) Lightweight, stylish, smooth and strong. This is so nice that if I get another one I wont carry it around with me and lose it again!
