Comments about Rockford Fosgate Marine RFXMR3 Wired Remote:
The unit only comes with a very short extension cable. [...] Rockford Fosgate was able to advise me what cable I needed. [...] Rockford gave me a number to the factory that they've outsourced the manufacturing of this product to. The number was not to a customer service department, but merely an employee. I left a message, which did not get returned. BTW, the owners manual gives no information either. The unit did not even come with hook-up instructions. Quite the "run-around" for what seems to be a VERY SIMPLE question.

this remote is a good product but will not work with the tuner rfx9400.as advertized in the catalog. It was very frustrating sending back both units because they did not work as a pair.finally nicholis research sent me the 9600cd and works great. To bad I spent 200$ on ins. of the non compatible unit, half my summer without tunes and my time on the phone and driving back and forth to installer. What a pain I hope you do not do the same.

Q:
Does this unit come with the cable to place the remote on the boat. If so, how many feet come with it. ThanksAsked on 5/6/2010 by Anonymous1 answer
A:
No. It takes a 8 pin din cable, the clarion cable will not work(the pins are different sizes, although it has same number of pins)as yet I have not found a cable that will work.Answered on 6/4/2010 by Jim from Scottsville,ky
