this product was what our boat was missing, however when i spoke to the technical dept. they told me a bolt would come with this product before i ordered it and it did not arrive with a bolt , a call to tech support confirmed no bolt comes with it after i waited 2 days for a return call , product was fine, 411 on product needs help

I bought 3 trim tabs in 6 months

it only last about 3times out then breaks off I do not know why it has plenty of clearence from prop so I think they to weak or defective

          It works with my Quicksilver Laser II stainless prop which extends beyond my old aluminum prop. On my last trim tab, I had to file a notch in it to use with the new prop but this tab needed no modification.

            This is the second trim tab in two years. Design is cheap and cast quality is questionable. Not sure if design is effective to offset engine torc.

                I bought this product last spring...broke the first time the boat was in the water. Thought maybe they changed something in the design, so I bought it again this spring.

                Both times - first time the boat in the water - it broke off.

                Never again. In fact, I am finding me a new on line store. I have had enough.

                Service and delivery comments:

                Shipping was fine. When I called to complain of course they want to pin it on me. I installed it backwards, maybe the prop hit it....bla bla. I can appreciate that they might question some of their customers, but when they insult my intelligence, I am done.
