So I was thinging of installing a 25hp or 40hp high thrust 4 sroke to do my my manouvring for fishing. My question is will the bracket hold this size engine? • Q:

With the motor set to the lowest position on the transom, the shaft my pontoons Honda OB Motor is too short.
It is Standard Length, previous owner should have ordered long shaft.

Q If mounted to the lowest position on the transom (as motor currently is) does this jack a)raise, b)lower or c) raise and lower the motor relative to the position it would have been if mounted using the some holes.
