I have a Luhrs 29. And because I do a lot of still fishing and use the main engines to keep the boat astern it gets tiring and costly. So I was thinging of installing a 25hp or 40hp high thrust 4 sroke to do my my manouvring for fishing. My question is will the bracket hold this size engine? With the motor set to the lowest position on the transom, the shaft my pontoons Honda OB Motor is too short.
It is Standard Length, previous owner should have ordered long shaft.
