Q:So do you just screw the bottom mount into the deck of the boat. I am not understanding how may reviews say it can be mounted anywhere... with no holes required. It certainly won't just stand up with no screws or?? thanksAsked on 6/2/2009 by Smitty2 from dallas, tx
A:The base plate mounts to the floor of your boat just like a table system does. The plate is screwed into the floor but does not require you to drill a 2" hole (size of the pedestal) like other systems require. The pedestal then screws and locks into this surface mounted base plate.Answered on 6/3/2009 by Michael from Overtons
A:Just installed one on my pontoon boat. You'll need to bolt the deck mount into the deck. It took 6 SS bolds and washers to get it down solid. Then just screw the post into the mount and your in business. When not in use the polls fit inside the grill which in turn fits nicely under one of the seats on my boat.Answered on 6/10/2009 by slingshot from North Carolina
Q:Does this grill hook into where a table would go on a pontoon boat or do you have to mount it elsewhere?Asked on 3/14/2009 by Matt from Arkansas
A:You can put this grill where a table was if the specifications match up, however we cannot guarantee that it will work. The plate that is pictured at the base of the post allows you to install it almost anywhere on your boat's deckAnswered on 3/23/2009 by Charlie @ Gander Tech from Greenville, NC
A:it hooks into the table, but it comes with a mount that is very easy to installAnswered on 5/14/2009 by D Boater from Lake County, IL

A:I bought an 6 foot adapter hose at Lowe's several years ago that mates to the fitting with a standard LP bottle connection. I couldn't find it on the Lowe's website but here is a link to a similar hose on the Home Depot site.
