Installed this horn in my SeaRay 185 bow rider. It's a solid product compared to over the counter horns available at the auto store. Reasonable sound quality, should hear you on the water in most circumstances. Needed to retrofit the hole in the hull for installation, that would be hard for someone without the right tools. Also, the horn cover is slightly smaller than an OEM part. Just barely covers the hole from the old horn. Had to drill new holes for the screws too. It appears to be a quality product and I am pleased with my purchase but if you aren't handy with tools the installation might frustrate you on this model boat.

This was a replacement horn for our '97 Larson ski boat. I was able to use the existing horn cover and bracket by drilling holes in the horn bracket. By doing this I didn't have to cut a bigger hole in the boat. The horn isn't as loud as I expected. Water ruined the original and this one claims to be waterproof.

Comments about Ongaro Marine All Stainless Steel Mini Drop-In Single Horn:
the horn was missing when I bought my boat, just a deteriorated plastic cover over the hole. This horn fit the precut hole perfectly and the chromed, metal cover finished the job. Fit is always iffy when working on an older ( 1994 ) boat.

Comments about Ongaro Marine All Stainless Steel Mini Drop-In Single Horn:
Replacement for OEM on '94 Bayliner 1850 Capri. Supplied screws are not thick enough to secure the horn itself, which meant an extra day and some creative hardware choices and yoga positions, but real happy with it now that it's installed.

None of our horns are application specific so you should be able to wire any of them to a power, ground, and momentary switch and they work just fine. So, yes this and any of our other horns should work for you depending on the mounting space available on your boat.Answered on 1/14/2010 by Justin from Overton's Technician
