Manual covers dock building very well, BUT author seemed compelled to be a comedian and just about every heading and paragraph has a joke or play on words. Would be ok if used sparingly, but it is so pervasive that I had to read in short sections. Very annoying.

          Well written book about dock design and construction. My only disappointment was that there was no mention or material about rigging docks for electricity or installing plumbing to have water service on the dock. I learned a lot about docks, but not all that I hoped for.
