I made this purchase to protect my small investmet in fuel. The old cap just screwed in. This locking cap just fit great in it's place. Real easy to change, one screw holds the strap to it so it stays attached when refueling.

Looking for the Perko locking cap which fits a 1994 Mastercraft Prostar. Needs to be 1.75 inches in diameter. This particular cap measures closer to 1.25 inches in diameter.

I am trying to replace a two year old Perko which gasket has deteriorated and therefore has become difficult to remove.

what is the diameter of the cap at the threads and at the cap? I have a old perko fuel fill and the plastic screw in cap is 1 3/4 " at the thread and am having a hard time finding one to fit
