Straps work as advertised. Took me a few minutes to figure out the way the extra strap works to keep the hook off the PWC fiberglass, but once I understood that it was easy to use and worked great. First trip, pulled it 300 miles each way and it worked great.

Comments about Kwik Tek Single Ratchet Tie-Down:
This is a nice system. It allows a lot of flexibility in its uses BUT the 8foot strap is actually TOO LONG to wind up in the rachet. Unless you closely watch the strap to make sure it is straight and very tightyly wound up it won't fit on the rachet. I use it for holding down my PWC and I had to cut like 2-3ft. off it to make it fit on the rachet.
Overall it is great but for a PWC it is long but it is an easy fix.
