I used this to secure my jet ski to the dock and sea wall. With only light chop from other boats on the lake, the flap would pull to the outside of the snap. After pushing the flap back in place the snap several times, I replaced them all with metal snap hooks after one snap came loose and my jet ski drifted back into the rip rap at the sea wall. The hull may have a few scratches from the hooks, but it will not have the holes in the bottom from the rip rap.

It is labeled as Giant, it is no bigger then a medium brass snap. It will not fit in the bow eye hook of a PWC so it is useless. [...] I should have listened to other reviews.

I actually thought that this hook that is advertised as a "giant hook" would have been larger than it is. The hook only measures about 3" long and has about a 1/2" opening. Not very large at all. The eye for the mooring line to go through only measures about 7/8". Some lines would not go through an eye that small. It would cost too much to send both back to you or I would have.

Alittle hard to unhook until you used it a few times. Women and kids might not be able to unhook it.

Has to be in right position to unsnap. But this is good you know pwc will not come loose!!
