Si-Tex SP-70 Autopilot

The SP-70 autopilot from Si-Tex was designed for precise control, easy installation, and simple operation. Simply set the course, and the autopilot takes the controls, piloting you to your destination with ease and precision. The unit is easily installed on inboard, outboard, and stern drive boats. Other features include Automatic compensation of fluxgate compass; Automatic sea state; Pilot, dodge, course change, and nav modes of operation; trim controls; and rudder feedback with ghost rudder backup that allows the autopilot to use memory of rudder movements to calculate new movements in event of rudder feedback failure. A fixed mount or handheld remote can be added to the system, and an optional analog rudder angle indicator is also available. The unit operates on 10-30V DC at an average of 3 amps. The system has two rudder-response settings (for high and low speed) and ten selectable levels of sensitivity for each setting. Built-in diagnostic system gives you visual and audible alarms and performs automatic self-tests. Port and starboard function keys permit course adjustments in as little as 1° increments.
