After having my spare tire stolen from my trailer at a secluded ramp hind sight told me I needed to protect my expensive mag wheel and spare tire like I do the trailer's tires with a lock. I hope this will do the trick.
The only con I have found with it is that the center hole in the lock will not allow the 1/2 inch diameter U-bolt to pass thru it.

I bought this for my boat spare but the hole in the top of the lock is not large enough for my lug to fit through so there is no way to get it the lock down the lug and around the lug. I'll try drilling the hole out. Other than this it appears that it would work well.

                  This is not for a car it is for a trailer spare tire mount. It will not work on any car tire.

                  Unfortunately, most of the time the numbers you will need are actually on the keys. If the lock has a serial number that might be able to get you by. Call master lock if there is a serial number on the lock itself, if there is no serial number on that lock, you will not be able to replace the keys.
