Comments about Super Slick Boat Bottom Wax, 16 oz.:
Super Slick worked great on my pontoon boat to prevent growth under the water line when the boat was in the water all summer. I used it for many years and was very disappointed when I found out they no longer make it and have no replacement product coming out.

Comments about Super Slick Boat Bottom Wax, 16 oz.:
We apply this to the pontoon's each year before we drop it in the water for the summer. At the end of the year when we pull it out we just take the pressure washer to it and all the growth from the lake is easily removed.

Comments about Super Slick Boat Bottom Wax, 16 oz.:
Clean the area you wish to coat and make sure it is dry. Application is much easier in very warm weather with a latex or dishwashing glove on your hand. No need to use a sponge, just dip your hand in and smear on the glove and then smear all around, the glove makes it easy to get in hard to reach spots and makes cleanup much quicker. Super Slick kept our flats boat marine growth free for up to six weeks at a time while storing the boat in the water! The worse part about using the product is removal; make sure you have a powerwasher on hand if you don't want to take the time and effort to remove from all the hard to reach spots.

Q:
We live on Long Island(NY) and have purchased a new boat. Does anyone have a solid answer of how this product performs or doesn't? Lenght of time you can keep the boat in the water before barnacle build up and a pain in the neck scrubbing. Is this just a gimmick to what seems an easy way out to bottom paint? This product reads, (Do not trailer after application. 12 hours max. to launch.) Does this mean that trailering after applying is not recomended? I have an aluminum John and trailer it often. How often will I need to reapply the Super Slick?
