Comments about Barefoot International Pro Ski Pylon:
Installed with no problems, just make sure the main pole is screwed all the way into the base before marking your screw holes and drilling. Used it the first time this weekend had no problems pulling up a single ski - skiier, wake boarder, knee boarder. Did not use for pulling a tube per instructions, used eye hooks and tow harness for that. Very solid product and will get alot of use.

Comments about Barefoot International Pro Ski Pylon:
The product is of high quality, whch I expect for the money I paid. My issue with this product is the 2 support fastener's length. They are made to go through the splash well, but on runabouts, splash well walls are very thin. I want to put the bolts through the transom, but they are too short. I called Overton's and talked with a rep about this; Overton's was supposed to get back to me with a solution, but its been 2 weeks and I have not heard back. I now need to fabricate my own support bolts. Its a good thing I have access to a machine shop.

A:
This does come coming with the base plate. The hardware that is does not come with are the screws/bolts to mount it to the boat. The best way to do it is if you access to under your floor to put a washer to help with the support. If you have to use lag bolts you will have to call the manufacturer about installing it. 800-932-0685 for Barefoot International.Answered on 9/18/2009 by Chad @ Overton's from Greenville, NC
