      This is a very nice vest that is constructed similarly to my O'Neill Outlaw, except that this is Coast Guard approved. It is made of the soft, form-fitting material, making it more like a bouyant wet suit material vest. I will use it for my 6-year-old daughter when we are kayaking, or when she is on the front of my stand up paddling board. One limitation of this vest is that it does not seem to have a wide fit range. It zips up, then has straps also. There is a fairly large fit range based upon the straps, but the zipped size defines whether it will fit or not. having said that, if it fits, there is nothing better. I had my girl try on three, and this one was easily the best, in every way.

      Bought this for our little girl. Great jacket- cute style and very good quality. Wish the waist was flared a little. The belly pushes the jacket up and causes it to rub on her cheeks.
