Comments about Overton's Overton's Heavy-Duty 2-Person Tube Tow Rope:
This tow rope was a free add-on when I purchased the Gladiator Tube and a great and useful extra. It's nice to have an extra tow rope, especially if the kids are in someone else's boat and they don't have one...thank you Overton's for the much appreciated gift!

Q:
whats is the proper length for the tow rope to be when towing. i bought the harness and the 60 rope seems way to long. i have a 86 bayliner capriAsked on 8/18/2012 by danny gaxiola from az1 answer
A:
60ft is standard but you can always tie it to the cleat in the middle without using the looped end.Answered on 11/14/2012 by Justin from Overton's
Q:
of the two loops which one goes around ski pylon and where does the black rubber tube go.Asked on 5/27/2011 by Anonymous3 answers
VERIFIED BUYER
A:
The shorter of the two loops goes on the ski pilon. The black tube goes on the connection of the tube to stop splashing.Answered on 6/13/2012 by Captain from Branchville, NJA:
Where you put the black tube doesn't matter. It often slides down to the tuber's end, so i would recommend putting it down there. Also, use the curved end of the rope to put on the tube and not on the pole side. Note: the curved area does not appear until the third or fourth use.Answered on 6/28/2012 by Anonymous from AnonymousA:
The End With the Black Sleeve is the Boat end.
The Black Sleeve should be positioned to protect the rope from abrading the Transom or the MotorAnswered on 7/14/2012 by Capt. Bill from Lorain, OH
Q:
does this rope float on top of the water or sink?Asked on 9/17/2010 by Anonymous8 answers
A:
It will not float.Answered on 9/27/2010 by Bryant from TechA:
The rope will float!
With that said, it will only float itself and just barely at that.
But it will float enough to stay out of the propeller in water calm enough to go tubing.Answered on 7/14/2012 by Capt. Bill from Lorain, OHA:
Floats real nice but as of this writing, only used for 1 outing; so far very pleased with the product. - DougAnswered on 6/18/2011 by Doug the boater dude from Columbus, OHVERIFIED BUYER

Q:
Do you have tow robes in different colors? I need three for three single tubes we purchased previously from overtons. The tubes are the same, would like the robes to be different colors so the kids can tell which tube is theirs.Asked on 3/27/2010 by patty from pittburgh1 answer
A:
There are NO color selections.
The 2, 4 and 6 person ropes are different colors but all 2 person ropes are the same color.
Put the kids initials on the tubes or tie a colored ribbon on to tell them apart.
If the kids can't tell them apart; Does it Matter?Answered on 7/14/2012 by Capt. Bill from Lorain, OH
