We were excited when we purchased this float. It seemed like it would be perfect for our teenage children and their friends to relax on at the lake. We took it out of the box and inflated. That's when we saw the hole along one of the welded seams. We deflated and contacted Overtons the next day. Overtons refered us to Airhead, the manufacturer. We followed the instructions from Airhead, pictures, proof of purchase, pictures of the barcode, and submitted claim. We were told we would hear back in 1-3 business days.
It's been 2 weeks without a response. Wouldn't purchase from Overtons again since they will not stand behind their products and just refer you to Airhead.

Comments about Overton's Overton's Colosseum Island, 8-person:
I called Overton's to get the info on how to return the raft that had a hole in it the first time we used it. I had to call 6 times agian to get someone to email the instructions to return the item. It was just unbelievable that I was promised so many times that a standard set of instructions could not be forwarded to me. This part of the process took 4 weeks (plus the next steps of shipping, handling and return of a new item). Thanks to these problems, we missed using the item at 2 different family get togethers-the highlight of our summer. We were very disappointed in Overton's lack of service and follow-through.

Comments about Overton's Overton's Colosseum Island, 8-person:
We use the raft for girls weekend. We have 8 girls so we all have our very own spot on the raft. The raft fills very quickly and is easy to handle. We were disappointed when we first blew it up and noticed that at some time prior to shipping the raft ,someone must have punctured the raft and they repaired it and sent it out to me anyway, as if I wouldn't notice. Also one of the head rest valves were bad and wouldn't hold air.
However, the friendly and helpful staff at Overton's had a new one shipped to me in no time. I haven't been able to examine that yet and won't be able to do so til next summer.

Comments about Overton's Overton's Colosseum Island, 8-person:
We had a mishap with our first Colosseum Island, no fault of the product. We contacted Overton and their customer service was outstanding. We had a replacement in just a few days and since then it has been all fun. We have a house on a lake and the island has been a blast. It accommodates 8 people comfortably. It is easy to get into and out of and was no problem to inflate. A great way to relax on a hot day with your friends and everyone has a place for their own beverage.

Comments about Overton's Overton's Colosseum Island, 8-person:
I purchased the 8 man colosseum last year. We are boaters and once we get to a spot where we are going to hang out for the day we inflate the raft (hook the inflator to our boat battery) and it's totally inflated in 5 minutes. We always have family and friends on the boat so it is so much fun hanging out in the water in this raft all day! We absolutely love it and it has been one of the best investments I ever made for fun summer toys!! It deflates quickly too so we can just fold it up and keep it in the cabin of our boat. Your family will love it!

Yes your rump will get wet. Toes may get a little cold as well. Still on our cool day, it was enjoyable.Answered on 6/11/2011 by ricky the clown from somewhere in time.
Q:
Is there a warranty for this product?Asked on 5/11/2010 by Anonymous1 answer

A:
Yes - there is a warranty. If it develops a hole within one year of purchase - you would just cut out the damaged part of the float - and send it in to Overton's. They would send you a new raft.Answered on 6/13/2011 by the crowes nest from port huron, MI
