The ColorMax chartplotters from Si-Tex offers your choice of a GPS/WAAS antenna for exceptional accuracy down to 3 meters or a combination WAAS/E-Loran sensor for consistant, unparalleled accuracy. The ColorMax series features a high-speed processor, programmable grounding alarm, and brilliant color LCD daylight displays with outstanding clarity in bright sunlight - perfect for an open cockpit. The newly designed high-speed processor with Intel Xscale Architecture gives you instant screen changes, perfect for quickly displaying the detailed C-Map MAX Cartography (optional). ColorMax units take full advantage of the latest C-Map advances and can display tide data, find the nearest boat yard or bank, and even locate the closest shower. The Guardian Programmable Anti-Grounding feature lets you know if your current course takes you within preset distance of charted shoals, obstructions, or other areas where the water is too shallow for your vessel's draft. Other features include a Depth Graph when interfaced with an on-board sounder or an optional Active Transducer; split-screen displays; North-up or Track-up modes; and GOTO and MOB functions. Si-Tex offers their user interface in thirteen different languages. For auxiliary equipment, the ColorMax series includes a NMEA 0183 interfacing data port and the ability to display wind data when connected to a wind instrument. These units can also be interfaced with the optional ES502 Black Box Sounder module and transducer to transform the ColorMax into a full-featured dual frequency fishfinder that includes single or dual frequency split screen, A-Scope, temperature graph, and more. You can also add radar capability to the Wide, Sea Link, and Pro ColorMax models. Units ship with built-in world base map, bracket mount, surface mount, protective cover, and antenna.
